Based in Melbourne, Australia, Damien is the Global Solutions Director for Microsoft Converged Communications at Rapid Circle: a global organisation dedicated to creating impactful solutions with the Microsoft Cloud. Rapid Circle’s work spans Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and Power Platform, empowering their customers to achieve what’s next.

With over 16 years of expertise in the Microsoft Converged Communications space, Damien offers invaluable insights to organisations aiming to modernise their communication platforms and enhance workplace efficiency. Having witnessed the evolution from on-premises platforms, to hybrid models, and now fully cloud-based platforms, Damien possesses the comprehensive experience needed to navigate current challenges and chart a course towards a truly modern and future proof communications solution.

While Teams Phone and Meeting Rooms remain a core competency, Damien is increasingly focusing on the Dynamics 365 Contact Centre and related technologies space: Dynamics 365, Azure Communications Services, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform to name a few. Damien views this as a significant growth area for Microsoft, representing a transformative shift in how organisations approach Customer Experience in an AI-driven world.

Damien holds bachelor degrees in Accounting and Electronic Business, and also holds Microsoft’s highest (if not somewhat long in the tooth) attainable qualification: Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) in Intelligent Communications.

A once-upon-a-time club DJ, Damien still relishes the opportunity to get behind the decks and drop some solid Techno whenever he can find the time.
